Rc USP Trypsin
Trypsin, a single chain protein of 223 amino acids, is a member of the Serine protease S1 family. It is 223 amino acids long — expressed in Pichia Pastoris — and is produced by the removal of N-terminal hexapeptide from Trypsinogen. The native form of Trypsin is termed as β –Trypsin and α-Trypsin results from the hydrolysis of it. The protease cleaves peptides at Lysine and Arginine residues on the C-terminal end, with an optimal activity at pH 7-9. USP grade Trypsin has a defined α:β ratio.

Rajaram has 22+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Portfolio Management and establishing new businesses. He leads the global portfolio management for Laurus. Before joining Laurus, he was associated with Mankind Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma, Dr. Reddys Laboratories and Torrent Pharmaceuticals. Mr Rajaram has a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry. He has also completed EGMP from IIM—Bangalore and an MBA in Operations Research.

V V Ravi Kumar is the Executive whole time Director and Chief Financial Officer of Laurus Labs. He has been a Director of Laurus Labs since November 30, 2006 and is in-charge of finance and human resources function of the company, he has also led the supply chain function of our company for a significant period of time.

Dr. Satyanarayana Chava is the Executive whole time Director and Chief Executive Officer of Laurus Labs. He has been a Director of Laurus Labs since January 21, 2006. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Science from Andhra University. He was also a research scholar at the College of Science and Technology, Andhra University from 1985 to 1992 and went on to obtain his Ph.D. in the year 1992.
