Fibroblast Growth Factor basic (FGFb) is one of the 23 members of the Fibroblast growth factor family. It promotes growth and proliferation in embryonic stem cells, neural stem cells, mesenchymal cells, and endothelial cells. FGFb also aids in embryo development and disease progression such as cancer. It is expressed by Adipose tissues and correlates with fat levels in blood. Our FGFb is 155 amino acids long, expressed in Escherichia Coli.
