Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) is a polypeptide mitogenic growth factor that stimulates cell growth and differentiation by binding to EGFR and activating multiple downstream cell-signaling cascades. It plays an important role in modulating biological functions such as fetal growth and development, neural modulation, glucose transport, and nucleic acid synthesis. Our EGF-L is 106 amino acids long — expressed in Escherichia Coli — and contains 53 amino acids to N-terminal sequence in addition to Human EGF sequence.
