Prem Pavoor is the Managing Partner, India at Eight Roads Ventures, leading investments in life sciences, healthcare, and health IT. Previously, he was with McKinsey & Company (US), advising pharma and healthcare firms on R&D, business development, and operations. Prem holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from ICT Mumbai, an MS & Ph.D. from MIT, and an MBA from MIT Sloan. His doctoral research at MIT & Harvard Medical School focused on implantable medical devices and nano-coatings. He is the lead author of multiple publications, an inventor on two US patents, and a recipient of the MIT-OMNOVA Award for Excellence in Polymer Research.

Rajaram has 22+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Portfolio Management and establishing new businesses. He leads the global portfolio management for Laurus. Before joining Laurus, he was associated with Mankind Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma, Dr. Reddys Laboratories and Torrent Pharmaceuticals. Mr Rajaram has a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry. He has also completed EGMP from IIM—Bangalore and an MBA in Operations Research.

Dr. V Uma Maheswer Rao has been associated with Laurus Labs since June 9, 2016. He holds a Master’s degree in Science and a Ph.D from Osmania University. He has several years of experience in the fields of process research and development and API manufacturing process.

V V Ravi Kumar is the Executive whole time Director and Chief Financial Officer of Laurus Labs. He has been a Director of Laurus Labs since November 30, 2006 and is in-charge of finance and human resources function of the company, he has also led the supply chain function of our company for a significant period of time.

Dr. Satyanarayana Chava is the Executive whole time Director and Chief Executive Officer of Laurus Labs. He has been a Director of Laurus Labs since January 21, 2006. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Science from Andhra University. He was also a research scholar at the College of Science and Technology, Andhra University from 1985 to 1992 and went on to obtain his Ph.D. in the year 1992.
